This hunky 12 year old Quarter Horse gelding has both looks and fancy moves! As a former ranch horse, JW is a been-there-done-that kind of horse. He has a beautiful stride, though shorter in the canter. He is suitable for a beginner rider who does not pull on the mouth. JW would make a great trail horse or even lower level dressage with his movement. He’d be superb to just hack around your place and hang out with you. JW is kind, easy to handle and very gentle. Great ground manners, easy to load, stands on crossties, and after some time is now lovely with the farrier! JW does need front eggbar shoes as he has navicular changes, but is sound with shoes on. We know people shy away from maintenance horses, but this boy is worth the second look. He deserves his only family to fawn over him. He is a great stall horse and probably best suited to that as he has a thinner coat. JW is a really great horse looking with brains and an education.
